Biology showed me an immeasurable admiration for all forms of life and education offered me a context to share this feeling. I started to see photography as a means of highlighting the diversity of this planet, from the smallest insects to the largest oceans; as a way of connecting people to the ecosystems of which we are part; as a spark that can ignite in us this sense of community and natural heritage that are so special to me. By putting aside the barriers between science and sensibility, I discovered a much greater passion for my work and that is what I seek to reflect in my photography.
